This Is Our Moment

Something Is Happening in Our City

Neighborhood Network is a monthly sports outreach for 7th–12th grade students in Oklahoma City.

Students come to play. To be known. To be part of something consistent.

Something is happening in our city.

Students are showing up, courts are filling, and relationships are forming. A picture of loving our neighbor, loving our city, and loving the sport.

A city is within reach and this is our moment. But we are running out of room to say yes.

The Beginning

A Vision Formed Over Time.

Five years ago, God placed a dream in our hearts: reach students in Oklahoma City through sport and consistent presence.

Over the next four years, He refined it. He connected us with ministries in places like Harlem who had built something real through years of showing up. At the same time, He was pulling together the right people here at New Song.

In January 2025, Neighborhood Network launched its first 3v3 basketball tournament. From that first day, it was clear: students were showing up, and they were coming back.

The Need

There Is a Gap in Our City.

Across Oklahoma City, there is a gap: but not in talent or potential. It is a gap in access, safety, and consistent presence.

Students need places where they are known. Where they are safe. Where they can show up and be expected. When those places do not exist, something else fills the space.

We believe the Church is called to step into that space.

We Have Outgrown Our Space

What started with a handful of students has grown faster than our current space can hold. We are turning students away, not for lack of interest, but for lack of room.

No Permanent Home

We are operating without a permanent home. And in Oklahoma — with cold fronts, ice storms, and a shortage of covered courts in the neighborhoods where we operate — that matters.

The Moment Is Now

We are not waiting for the perfect moment. We need to build or buy a home in our students' community, built for them. And the moment is now.

The Invitation

Make Room.

There are moments when God begins to do something right in front of us. In those moments, He looks for a people who will respond.

Everything we are building begins with something simple. Someone makes room:

Room for a student to show up.
Room for a relationship to form.
Room for something lasting to grow.

This is the heart of Christ. He made room for people. He stepped into their lives. He met them where they were.

"Seek the welfare of the city… for in its welfare you will find your welfare." — Jeremiah 29:7 (ESV)
