Some arrive early to transform an empty gym into a place full of life. Others welcome families, coach teams, referee games, keep score, hand out jerseys, serve lunch, capture photos, or pray with students and families.

Ways to Serve

Volunteers serve in many different ways throughout the day, including:

Registration & Welcome — Greet families and check in teams
Team Coaching — Encourage players on and off the court
Refereeing — Keep the game fair and fun
Scorekeeping & Timekeeping — Track scores and game clock
Court Host — Keep each court organized and on schedule
Jersey Distribution — Help players feel part of something
Hospitality & Community Meal — Serve meals and snacks
Set Up & Tear Down — Transform the space before and after
Prayer Team — Walk the courts and pray over students and families
Photography & Media — Capture the energy of tournament day
Floater / General Event Support — Fill gaps as they come up

No basketball experience is required for many of these roles. We'll help you find a place where you can serve confidently.
